A child goes through numerous experiences in such a brief time that we frequently ignore their mental well being. Well, not here at ST.PAUL’S SCHOOL JHINJARI. We attend to each possible problem that a student may be facing, be it basic guidance and counselling at school , or mentoring the children through a significant issue. We are here for them in circumstances.
We have specially trained school counsellors who primarily:
Help students explore their abilities, strengths, interests, and skills as these traits relate to career awareness and development.
Address the red flag for behavioural issues marked by the teacher. This helps both the counsellor and also the teacher to understand the scholar .
Guide parents on the academic , personal, and social growth of scholars .
Work with teachers and other educators to assist students explore their potential and set realistic goals for themselves.
Consult with counsellors for professional advice when an educator cannot comprehend things and wishes a finer view of the difficulty .
Listen and empathise with the scholars .
Collaborate to integrate guidance and counselling at school work and lessons. Teachers and counsellors can work together to explain lessons in school about academics, careers, and personal/social issues. These lessons help students with their decision-making in class .
It is best to tackle problems before they become insurmountable.
The School Counselling Staff at our international schools provides developmental, proactive, and preventative services for college kids . This involves a cooperative effort among students, staff members, and fogeys .
A student may schedule a meeting together with his or her counsellor.
Parents wishing to meet with their child’s counsellor may call or fix a meeting .
Once the counsellor reviews the student’s daily schedule, the scholar are going to be called out of a lighter period to deal with their concern(s). Information are going to be kept confidential, until and unless things is threatening for the security of the kid .
