St. Paul’s School Jhinjhari celebrated Christmas on 22nd December 2019 with great zest and zeal. The entire school vibrated with the echoes of Christmas carols. The school campus was beautifully decorated with Christmas tree, red and white balloons, stars, colourful bells by the students.
The programme started at 9:00 A.M by grand and cheerful welcome of Special guest Fr. Dominic Thomas Parish Priest of St. Paul’s church, katni, Guest of Honour Sr. Daise Therese along with Fr. G. Alexander,Manager of St. Paul’s School, Jhinjhari and Ms.Shirley Mathew, Principal of St. Paul’s School, Jhinjhari. The students welcome them with beautiful handmade card and roses.
The cultural programme began with Intercessory prayer followed by KG Santa dance on ‘Jingle Bells’ which was truly marvelous. The choir sang Christmas carols ‘Oh come all ye faithfull’…’dashing through the snow’….’Hawk now hear the angle sing’….etc filled air with festivity. Special dance was performed by students to add more joy. Students presented a ‘skit on nativity’ in which they told the beautiful story of the Lord JESUS CHRIST birth.
Santa too made a grand entry in the carnival attracted the attention of the audience. The delight was uncontained especially as he brought out chocolates!
Parish priest Fr. Dominic in his Christmas wishes, blessed everyone on this holy season and quoted that, God has showed his everlasting love by sending his only son-JESUS CHRIST. Students delighted by delicious cake and enjoyed Christmas celebration.
The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of the children.
